Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our nursery, including fees, funding and sessions. 

Opening times

We are open all year round (52 weeks) and only close on bank holidays, however we do offer term time only contracts.

Our core opening hours are 8am till 6pm however we offer 7.30am till 18.30pm subject to availability. 

Full Day Sessions

All full day’s sessions where no funding is claimed all consumables are included in the daily fee, e.g. - Nappies, wipes, all food and drink.

  • 8am-6pm - £60.50

  • 8am - 6pm (term time only) - £62.00 if you sign up your child for a term time only contract you will attend 38 weeks of the year, but with the flexibility to book in for extra sessions throughout the holiday.

 

Extended day: We can provide care from 7.30am and until 6.30pm for a fee of £6.50 per half hour. Extended day hours are subject to availability so please speak with management if you need additional provision.

Half Day Sessions

Both morning and afternoon sessions where no funding is claimed all consumables are included in the daily fee, e.g - Nappies, wipes, all food and drink.

  • 8am-1pm - £38.80

  • 1pm-6pm - £35.80 

 

Extra hours: £8 per hour All extra hours are subject to availability so please contact management if you require extra.

Discounts

Sibling discount - 5% discount for brothers and sisters of a child already attending the nursery for 2 full days per week or more or half days equivalent.

NHS discount - Subject to availability we can offer a 5% discount for NHS employees when registering a child for 2 full days per week or more or half days equivalent.

Funding

We accept FEL funding for 2 year olds and 3-5 year olds. Some 2 years old are eligible for 15 hours FEL funding depending on different circumstances, you can find out more information through the government website/childcare choices.

All 3 - 5 year olds are eligible for 15 hours FEL funding, this starts a term after your child's 3rd birthday and you don't need to apply for this through the government. 

Some 3 - 5 year olds may be eligible for 30 hours FEL funding depending on different circumstances. You will need to apply for this and supply the code you receive to the nursery. You can also find more information via childcare choices.

We understand being a working parent/carer is hard so we want to be as flexible as possible with how you can claim the hours with us. Megan Bradley is in charge of our nursery funding so if you have any questions please speak to her.

Where funding is claimed we do charge for food and other consumables as funding from the council does not cover these. 

Funded children food pricing

Breakfast & Morning Snack - £2.20 Hot Lunch - £3.20 Tea - £2.20 You are more than welcome to supply your child with a packed lunch.

Forest School

Forest School Sessions are available for 2 - 5 year olds on a Tuesday and Wednesday. These sessions are led by Madeline & Millie. 

 

These sessions are subject to availability and have an additional charge. If you would like your child to attend these sessions then please let Charlotte know and she will send you some more information.

 

Price for funded children: 

  • Half day - £9.50 Full day - £11.00 

 

Price for non-funded children:

  • Half day - £4.50 Full day - £8.00

After School Club

We provide an after school club until 6pm for children who attend Greystones Primary School and Hunters Bar Primary/Junior school. 

 

  • £10.20 per session, including a snack.

Famly App

We use the Famly app to foster a strong partnership between parents and the nursery. You can find all information regarding your child's day, their development and admin tasks such as invoicing, all through one point of call.
